The Dacia Sandero Stepway will be available in Europe from September
The Dacia Sandero Stepway is in fact the European version of the Stepway that was launched in Brazil at the end of last year by the Romanian version of Renault, and has now had its European launch at this week’s Barcelona Motor Show. Based on the Dacia Sandero hatchback, the Sandero features a raised ride height, a satin finished chrome nose and roof bars, 16″ wheels and a chrome exhaust pipe. It comes equipped with EBD (electronic brake distribution) and EBA (emergency brake assist).
Audi e-bike - a desirable object
The Audi e-bike – a high-end pedalec – has been revealed at Worthersee and designed for sport, fun and tricks. If you’re going to make any form of transport work with an electric motor, then it’s really only sensible to make the EV bit just one part of the equation. That’s why range-extender cars are the only really viable alternative to a regular ICE car – if you ignore the extra cost – and why an electric bicycle makes so much sense.

UPDATED: BMW has just released video of a partially disguised X1 testing in Majorca
BMW has released four teaser shots of its forthcoming X1 on a Facebook page dedicated to the mini-SUV. The X1 won't be officially unveiled until the Frankfurt motor show in September 2009, but BMW has been cranking up the publicity machine for its new 4x4 since a concept X1 was shown at Paris last year. CAR's Georg Kacher drove a prototype X1 earlier this year (CAR, May 2009) and in the past few days BMW has also released official shots of the car clad in the company's infamous psychedelic disguise.
